The Policeman's Benevolent Association of Cape May County Local #59 is dedicated to improving the terms and conditions of employment for our members. Our membership consists exclusively of full time uniformed members of Local Departments within Cape May County. This includes members from the rank of Patrolman through the rank of Chief, both active and retired. The PBA advocates for the rights of its members and takes action in a variety of ways, and is the official voice of the membership.
The members of the PBA 59 perform their duties to serve and protect the town's residents with pride and enthusiasm. These communities include Avalon, Cape May, Cape May County Prosecutors Office, Cape May County Sheriff’s Department, Delaware River and Bay Authority Police, Lower Township,  Middle Township, North Wildwood, Sea Isle City, Stone Harbor, Wildwood, Wildwood Crest.  PBA 59 members feel strongly about the community in which they protect, and they devote the time and effort in and outside of the workplace to ensure the safety, and high quality of life for the residents of their jurisdictions.
In addition, PBA 59 actively sponsors and participates in numerous local activities and charities such as: Youth Sports, D.A.R.E., and Special Olympics to name a few.  PBA 59 also awards several College Scholarships to recipients from each High School throughout the County.  It is through the support and donations of the community that enables us to take an active role in the good of the community.
We thank you.
